Tertiary institutions running SIWES, and companies hosting students. Inside an institution that means school administrators, SIWES coordinators, supervisors and students — each with their own view of the same cycle.

Students are registered once, and both the Master List and the Placement List build from that record in the exact ITF format. Departments’ submission status is visible through the cycle, supervisors file assessments from the company, and students collect their forms from the app instead of queuing.

Companies set their requirements by discipline, level, location and skills, then review applications and confirm placements — without working through referrals or a single institution’s calendar.

No. The roles, the paperwork and the deadlines stay exactly as they are. What changes is that the lists build themselves and the forms stop moving by hand.

Companies are checked against CAC registration records before they can take part in student placements, and students see that verified status before they apply.
